WAC Individual Jumping (All Round) Course Map

WAC Individual Jumping (All Round) - 3rd Place BRONZE

This is the Individual Jumpers were we placed 3rd for the BRONZE once more. Nice run - really open course. Unfortunately we lost time over the broad jump again and went wide. I think we lost the SILVER on that turn.

Individual Agility (All Round) Video - 3rd Place

This is the Individual Agility class (All Round) where we placed 3rd. We opened up beautifully and executed 3/4 of the run flawlessly - we were steaming. Unfortunately when we got to the teeter is where we lost the GOLD medal!! The day before in practice we were able to get the dogs on the equipment, both Sonic and Jib just flew off the teeter like they had never seen one before. We were able to get good performances on the teeter consequently but as this was the first run on a teeter and I babysat it just in case. This left me flat flooted for Sonic and he blasted off the teeter leaving me behind. Nonetheless we took a 3rd place in this and hit the podium with a smile.

We had an exceptionally successful weekend. This is an awesome run from this past weekend in Perry, GA. We completed the course in 34.35 seconds and the yps??..... 4.978!!! He won the class and beat out his nearest competition by 3 seconds - which by the way was another miniature poodle, Kenda from Texas (Flash Paws!!). It was a great feeling to finally see all our hard work come together. Sonic qualified in 3 out of 4 standard runs earning his MX title!

This is the JWW course form Friday that we messed up. You will see that Sonic's angle to #12 I think was a straight line no? Not sure why he too the off course. I think as we are still training on the GD system that I will still need to use a threadle arm just to give him more info.

This is the course from Friday. We messed up between #11 & #12. I didn't think I needed a threadle arm... but I may have had to just to help Sonic out! Thoughts?
